Trinity Lutheran Church Northfield, Minnesota

On May 11th, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Trinity will hold a prayer vigil in the chapel.  You will have the opportunity to offer prayers for yourself and others in hour-long time slots.  If you wish to participate, there is a signup sheet in the hallway.  You may sign up either by yourself or with one of more others.  There will be resources available to help you during your time.  If you have questions, please see Pastor Klein.

It is time to renew (or start) your Lutheran Witness magazine subscription for next year.  The magazine will begin in August 2024 and the cost is $24.97 per year for 11 issues (June and July are combined).  Please notify the church office by June 1 if you would like to renew or start up a subscription.  You can pay by bringing your money to the church office or put money in the collection plate, marked for "Lutheran Witness".  If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

The Trinity softball team is looking for players to play on Sunday evenings in the Northfield Church Softball League.  Anyone over age 16 can play.  The first game is scheduled for the first Sunday in May.  There will be a practice before the first game for all players on the team.  If you are interested in joining the fun and fellowship on Sunday evenings, please see Jeff Ciffra to sign up.  Watch the weekly newsletters, bulletin board, and the church website for the summer schedule coming out soon.  See you at the ballpark!

Baptism anniversaries for the month of April will be celebrated during Fellowship time (10:30 am) on April 28.  Please join us at a special table in the fellowship hall for a special treat.

RSE will be from Sunday, June 9 - Thursday, June 13.  We are adding an extra night this year to enjoy time with our hostess and spend some prayer/devotional time before heading home on Thursday morning.  This is for youth who will be 11 and older by June 9.  Registration and Medical forms are available in the church office or see DCE Lisa Martinson.  Registration is due to Lisa by May 5.  After May 5 you will need to register and pay Rochester Servant Event $40 and pay Trinity $10 our Trinity expenses.

DCE Lisa is looking for a few more people to help with our Worship livestream services.  It is a pretty easy job, but very important.  The only thing you really need to know is how to type (speed isn't an issue), how to make a few clicks on a computer, and how to turn and aim the cameras.  There are a few people that can train you and when you are comfortable, we will add you to the schedule.  Please contact DCE Lisa Martinson or the church office if interested.
